Hank Chien is a three-time world champion of the video game Donkey Kong.[4][5] He currently holds the record with a score of 1,090,400 achieved on February 27, 2011 at Funspot.[6] He is also the winner of the Kong Off, a Donkey Kong competition which occurred on March 19–20, 2011. The competition featured Steve Wiebe, Billy Mitchell along with 8 other competitors. Chien won with a score of 994,400.[7]
The documentary "Doctor Kong: Cutting Up the Competition",[8] follows his first attempt to break the world record.
